In Reception, children spend a full day learning, discovering and exploring both indoors and outdoors. Please take some time to explore our page and find out what our Reception children have been up to.
At the end of Summer Term, all Reception children are assessed against the 'Early Learning Goals'. Below is a link you can follow to find the ELGs the children are currently working towards.
There is also a useful guide for parents with some activities you could complete at home to support your child in meeting these goals!
End of Reception- Early Learning Goals
In Autumn term our topic was Starry Night. We learnt about nocturnal animals, animals that hibernate, people who work at night and space!
During Spring term our topic will be "Are carrots orange?"
We will try new food, visit a supermarket and think about how to keep ourselves healthy.
