Today, 26 th May, we thought about ‘SELF TALK’ in RHSE. Self talk is our inner voice. We have both a negative and positive inner voice and they influence the way we act in different situations. We thought about situations we have been in and then let our voices talk. We realised if we listen to our positive voice we have more chance of being successful and happy. However, we also realised that our negative voice is valuable as we sometimes need to listen to it to keep ourselves safe.

We have written persuasive speeches in role as King Hrothgar. We have read parts of Beowulf, Anglo Saxon Boy and Charles Dickens a Tale of Two Cities. We than used green screen to film our speeches.

Mrs Wright came into school to talk to us about restoration. She helped us see how Jesus is with us even when times are difficult. She also taught us how to sign hymns and prayers
